ERIPS: Promoting Education and Empowerment Through Social Responsibility

ERIPS, as a socially responsible organization, is deeply committed to fostering positive change and empowering communities through meaningful educational and developmental initiatives. The organization actively incorporates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into its mission by offering free or subsidized training opportunities and collaborating with educational institutions and local bodies to enhance learning environments.
Scholarships for Professional Development
In alignment with its vision of empowering individuals through knowledge and skills, ERIPS provides scholarships for its professional training programs. To date, the organization has:
- Awarded full scholarships to 12 participants, enabling them to access training without financial constraints.
- Offered partial scholarships to 15 participants, reducing barriers to high-quality education and professional growth.

These scholarships reflect ERIPS's unwavering belief in the transformative power of education and its commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.
Support for Government School Teachers

Recognizing the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the future, ERIPS has undertaken initiatives to support government school educators:
- Training for Chandragiri Municipality Teachers: In collaboration with Ward No. 8 of Chandragiri Municipality, ERIPS conducted a one-day training program specifically designed for government school teachers. This training aimed to enhance their teaching methodologies, promote innovative practices, and foster a positive learning environment.
- Facilitation for Gaurishankar Rural Municipality, Dolakha: ERIPS provided an expert facilitator to conduct a dedicated training program for school teachers in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality. This initiative was focused on empowering educators with new strategies to improve the quality of education in their classrooms
Appreciative Parenting Workshops

In its quest to strengthen family bonds and nurture holistic development, ERIPS partnered with Sunshine School, Baneshwor, to conduct an Appreciative Parenting Workshop. This event was attended by an impressive 400 parents, who were introduced to the principles of Appreciative Inquiry (AI). The workshop emphasized the importance of positive communication, empathetic parenting, and fostering mutual respect within families, equipping parents with valuable tools to create nurturing home environments.
Engaging with Students in Higher Education

ERIPS also prioritizes the empowerment of young minds through workshops and training programs tailored for higher education students:
- Appreciative Inquiry Workshops for Forestry and Education Students: ERIPS collaborated with Kathmandu Forestry College and Kathmandu Shikshya Campus to deliver a series of workshops on Appreciative Inquiry for Bachelor’s and Master’s level students. These workshops provided participants with insights into strengths-based approaches, encouraging them to explore possibilities, embrace positivity, and apply their learning in both academic and professional contexts.
ERIPS has been actively engaged in promoting women's empowerment and social inclusion by conducting training programs for women, Dalits, and members of marginalized communities. These programs are designed to enhance their leadership skills, enabling them to participate more effectively in decision-making processes and contribute to their communities' development.
